Palsana Taluka Sports Meet

Palsana Taluka Sports Meet was organized at our sports ground by Nehru Yuva Kendra Surat. Many students of various schools participated in games like 100 M race, Kabaddi, Volleyball and Badminton

48th Youth festival at VNSGU, Surat 2022-23

• Youth festival started at VNSGU Convention hall in 9:00 am. • Dr.Kishor Singh Chavada (VC) inaugurated youth fest. • On 05-03-22 Arti Prajapti (FY BBA) participated in “On the spot painting competition”. • On 05-03-22 Ayan Khan (FY BBA) participated in “Light Vocal Music competition”. He secured 3rd position and won 2000 cash price with certificate. • On 06-03-22 Priyanka Dhaka (FY BBA) Participated in “Mono Acting competition”. • Closing ceremony held on 09-03-22 at VNSGU Convention hall, Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Kishor Singh Chavada (VC). • Students' confidence was boosted at the VNSGU Youth Festival.

Seminar on Voting Rights Awareness among Youngsters

• Seminar started at Auditorium Hall SDJ College Palsana at 11:00 am. With the introduction of the dignities, light lamping and Prayer in the presence of Dr. Aditi Bhatt and Dr. Vaibhav Desai. • Mr. H.R Keliya started the program with discussion on importance of Voting in rights in India. • He discussed even one vote is also very important for making India developed. • He discussed as for NOTA, he said that people can use it if they are not satisfied with the candidate. • During his talk, he described the Voter ID card and how youngsters can register themselves on the Website and his team also provides physical forms to the students so they can fill it.

“Nascent ’21: The Joy of New Beginning” – Fresher’s Party - 2021

• The program was started with welcome speech given by the students • Floral welcome of judges was done with flowers by faculty members • 4 students Amisha Patel, Tushar Sinduriya, Yash &DharaMurya hosted the whole event • Welcome dance was done by 3 students, Kiran Rathod, Sakshi Upadhyay, Priyanka Chaudhary • Solo song was presented by FY BBA student Ayaan Khan • Group dance was presented by Mittal Gohil, Shreya Chaudhary, Kiran Sahu, Manish Gupta, Kaushik Kanjariya and Aftab Mollah • Duet singing was presented by Shweta Thakur and Jay Sawant • Duet Dance was performed by Priyanka Chaudhry and Chanchal Khandelwal • FY BCOM student Shrishti Singh performed solo dance. • Ramp walk competition was started. • FY BSc student Margesh Saraiya performed surprise dance • FY BBA students Priyanka Chaudhary & Manish Gupta were declared Ms. & Mr. Freshers. • Vote of thanks and memento was given to judges

Debate Day and Signature Day

• Day started with signature on white t-shirt on 10 am in seminar hall. There are six members in each group. • In debate competition there are 4 teams are present and Margesh and team (B.sc) won the competition. • Topic is provided by Mr. Akhil Bhatt. “Digital Currency in India: Pros & Corns”

Cultural Program as a celebration of 73rd Republic Day

• Flag Hosting ceremony held in front of School building in presence of Shree Jignesh Patil, Trustees of SDJ Group along with school and college staff. • Cultural Program was started with prayer by student. • All the dignitaries were felicitated by the staff members of SDJIC Palsana. • I/C Principal of SDJIC Palsana, Dr. Sanjay Joshi, delivered a speech. • Singing, Dancing and Poetry recitation performances were given by students of SDJIC Vesu&Palsana. • Vote of thanks was given by trustee of SDJ group Shree Kailashchandji Jain. • The program ended with National Anthem.

Movie Day

• On the last day of year 2021, Dr. Sanjay Joshi organized a movie day. • Students and faculty left the college at 9.00 am sharp for the movie (Pushpa) at Milano Multiplex, Bardoli. • Movie starts sharp at 11:00 am. • Students happy and satisfied with the movie. • The film tells about Pushpa Raj is a coolie who rises in the world of red sandalwood smuggling. Along the way, he doesn’t shy from making an enemy or two.

Training Program on Effective Communication Skills

• Sessionwasstarted at Auditorium Hall SDJ College Palsana on 9:00 am. • Dr. Sanjay Joshi felicitated Dr. Mulchand Sen (Founder & CEO Dhyey Career Academy, Bardoli). • Prof. Bunti Singh hosted the Event. • Dr. Mulchand Sen started the program with discussion on importance of communication skills • He discussed common problems students face in English Communication • He made the program effective with some activities. • The happiness of the students was amply evident with applause and appreciation. • Dr. Sanjay Joshi thanked Dr. Sen and also encouraged students to participate more in such training programs to enhance their talents. • Dr. Manoj Rathod delivered Thank you note.

Stress buster activity with Bollywood Dance therapy.

• Session was started at Campus Footfall ground with Full Music • Dr. Sanjay Joshi felicitated Mr. Vatsal Parekh (Internationally recognized dance choreographer). • Vatsal Parekh With the aim of honing the dancing skills of the students. • He advised students regarding benefits of Dance for those who have limited mobility and added that it can be performed in the morning or whenever at the time of stress. • They dressed beautifully with white shirt/t-shirt and blue denim. • The happiness of the children was amply evident with applause and appreciation. All the students were very energetic and performed their dance forms enthusiastically. • Dr. Sanjay Joshi congratulated the students and appreciated the performance of the students and also encouraged them to participate more in such competitions to enhance their talents.
